Masonic Fellowship
The Braintree Masonic Fellowship is an association of freemasons retired from full time employment, their wives and masonic widows meeting at the Howard Hall, Braintree at 2:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month. The B.M.F. was formed in 1996 and membership now stands at about 100.
The monthly meetings consist of 15 minutes business followed by a talk from a guest speaker. The group enjoys an annual holiday together and past destinations have included Torquay, Isle-of-Wight and Scotland, and in September 2002 we plan a stay in Paignton. As usual this will include a full programme of excursions. We also have a couple of day trips each year, a charity supper and a couple of lunches. One to coincide with "Music in The Park" in the Public Garden opposite the hall and one at Christmas. Non - masonic guests are always welcome at our functions.
