a). Emergency Sub-Committee
An Emergency Sub-Committee consisting, of
the President, Senior Vice President, Junior Vice President. Honorary
General Secretary and Honorary Treasurer shall be empowered to deal with
any urgent matters and to make decisions within the Guidelines set out by
the Executive Committee and report these decisions to the next meeting of
the Executive Committee for ratification.
It may only be called by the President or
Honorary General Secretary
(b). Indoor Sub-Committee
A Sub-Committee to administer Indoor
Bowling shall comprise the President, Senior Vice President, Junior Vice
President, Honorary Secretary (Indoor), Honorary Treasurer, Honorary
Indoor Match Secretary Honorary Assistant Indoor Match Secretary, Honorary
Competition Secretary, Honorary Assistant Competition Secretary, and the
four members elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Association from
Indoor Clubs.
Its duty is to ensure the smooth running
of Indoor Bowling and keep the Executive Committee informed of their
actions.
(c). Selection Sub-Committee
A Selection Sub-Committee comprising the
President, Senior Vice President, Junior Vice President, the Honorary
Outdoor Match Secretary and the Honorary Assistant Outdoor Match Secretary
(for outdoor matches), the Honorary Indoor Match Secretary and the
Honorary Assistant Indoor Match Secretary (for indoor matches) and, when
applicable, the Tour Manager will be responsible for the selection of
teams to represent the Association in specific matches and three members
shall form a quorum.
These matches will be against the English
Bowling Association, English Indoor Bowling Association, the Midland
Counties Bowling Association, the Midland Counties Indoor Bowling
Association, the Welsh Private Greens Bowling Association and any other
special occasions.
(d). Promotions Sub-Committee
A Promotions Sub-Committee comprising the
Honorary Editor/ Publicity Officer together with three members of the
Executive Committee will be responsible for all promotions, publicity,
editorial matters and publications.
After each meeting it shall report to the
next meeting of the Executive Committee Meeting.
(e). Further Sub-Committees
May be appointed from members of the
Association being responsible to the Executive Committee who will
determine their composition, terms of reference and duration.
