The Constitution

The Objects of the Association are to promote, foster and safeguard the level green game of bowls, played out door and in door, for males, throughout the London and Southern Counties of England.

The Association shall: -

(a). Adopt and enforce the Laws of the Game as laid down by the English Bowling Association and the English Indoor Bowling Association.

(b). Arrange matches between and with its Member Clubs and other Associations.

(c). Promote Competitions for the benefit of all affiliated Clubs.

1. Outdoor Competitions for an Inter Club Championship (Challenge Shield), together with Single Handed (Gold Badge and Lonsdale), Pairs, Triples, and Fours.

2. Indoor Competitions for an Inter Club Championship (Indoor Challenge Shield) and Fours.

3. Any other Competitions and tournaments, both Outdoor and Indoor, as considered desirable.

(d). Publish, produce, commission and distribute books, pamphlets, brochures and other types of literature relating to bowls.

(e). Authorise the investment of monies of the Association in or upon such investments or securities, including land of any tenure, as may from time to time be considered expedient.

(f). Promote the Association's Vice Presidents' Fund.
